Accreditation

Proving ourselves again and again as a dependable, qualified contractor

We have a policy of continual improvement and training. With this we hope to offer our clients a wider range of services, backed up with the knowledge they are using a trusted contractor to carry out the work.

We understand that many clients, especially those in business, need to be able to relax knowing they have chosen a qualified contractor. One who is covered to carry out all the work and run their businesses safely and legally. This is why we continually assess our position in the market by reviewing tender opportunities, talking to clients and maintaining trade networks. Where we become aware of a gap in our skillset or certification/cover we ensure that gap is taken care of. We aim to be top choice for any maintenance work required in Central Scotland.

In 2012 Dan Frazer Gardening undertook Safe Contractor accreditation. We feel this was a worthwhile investment as it will ensure the systems we have in place are deemed suitable and are regularly checked and reviewed by a third party.

Dan Frazer Gardening has attended LANTRA training leading to NPTC certification in the folllowing:

  • CS30 –Chainsaw maintenance and cross cutting
  • CS31 – Felling trees
  • PA1 – Safe use of Pesticides
  • PA6 – Knapsack Spraying

We also hold CSCS site cards, a SEPA waste carrier’s license and have a Workplace First Aid-trained person on site at all times.

Insurance cover for all work is £5m Public and £10m Employer’s.
