The bulk of our work consists of maintenance of communal areas for flats, housing estates, and other shared grounds at residential developments. Since 2009 Dan Frazer Gardening have taken on not only new build developments but well-established ones, and with some of these sites having had previous contractors who couldn’t produce the standards that the clients have expected, it has been part of our focus to make changes that really matter.
Some aspects of gardens take more than one season to improve, such as lawns and courtyards. A regular and carefully-planned programme of treatments is often needed, and can be significantly affected by weather conditions. We have created significant improvements to all of our sites and continue to push this as one of the reasons why we add a valuable service over and above the vary basic ground maintenance often carried out.
Whether the sites require additional plants, creation of borders, or lawns need a programme of feed, weed, and mechanical treatments, we will be happy to either draw up an annual contract that includes all the required work, or to show our clients where the additional work would be of benefit and offer this over and above a more basic regime. Nothing makes us feel more proud than leaving a site after a visit and see the lawns being well-tended, plants looking healthy and everything neat and tidy with definition, interest and a lack of clutter.
April is seeing us deal with very cold and dry conditions so grass growth has been slow, but we are still out every day carrying out soluble iron moss treatment, scarifying, edging, applying feed and preparing lawns for the spurt in growth that will come with warmed wetter weather. All of our professional-grade equipment has been tested and serviced to ensure things run well and produce the best results possible.
We hope to continue to build on our success and work with new clients through 2013. New housing estates are being built in many locations around Glasgow, Bishopbriggs, Robroyston, Lenzie, and around Central Scotland so if you manage a site and need a contractor to step in and keep the grounds looking great we would be glad to help.
